The shoreline doesn’t disappear simply because the fog prevents you from seeing it.

LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES AUGUST 28th 2026
The period between eclipses can feel like a Band-Aid has been ripped off.
Ouch. Yikes. Tears flowing? Frustration surfacing? Emotions you thought you had worked through suddenly showing up again?
Eclipse season has a way of exposing what has been sitting beneath the surface. It can pull back the covering before we feel completely ready to look at what is underneath.
This Lunar Eclipse in Pisces at 4° may be the healing ointment we’ve been waiting for- mmm maybe.
Pisces reminds us that healing doesn’t always arrive through understanding exactly what happened or figuring out what we should do next; sometimes healing starts when we stop trying to control the process and allow ourselves to feel what is actually there.
Logic is going out the window. This Pisces lunation carries dynamic tension with Uranus in Gemini, while the Sun’s opposition in Virgo brings Mercury closely into the story. Mercury is combust the sun and not operating at full capacity.
Our minds may be working overtime trying to organize, explain, analyze, or make sense of something that simply cannot be solved intellectually yet. Logic may be going out the window while the feelings are packing a powerful punch.
Pisces speaks through intuition, emotion, dreams, memory, symbolism, and the subtle things we feel before we have words for them. Virgo and Mercury want the facts. They want the plan. They want to know what comes next.
Uranus adds another layer of unpredictability. A conversation, realization, piece of information, change of heart, or sudden emotional breakthrough could shift our perspective very quickly. Something we thought we understood may suddenly look very different.
This lunation answers to Jupiter in Leo, the sign of the Sun and the place where, just a short time ago, we experienced the August 12 Solar Eclipse in Leo.
That creates an important thread between these eclipses.
Jupiter, ruler of this Pisces lunation, is working alongside Saturn through a supportive trine. I love this aspect because underneath all of the emotion and uncertainty, there is something steady holding the process together.
Saturn gives Jupiter structure. Jupiter gives Saturn faith. Together they remind us that what surfaces now, what needs to be acknowledged, healed, released, forgiven, or simply felt, is not arriving without support.
You may temporarily feel like a ship lost at sea, unable to see the shoreline through the fog. But that Jupiter trine Saturn is reminding us that the shore is still there. You may not be able to see it yet, but direction is forming. Something is stabilizing. There is wisdom developing underneath the uncertainty. Have a little faith.
The soul work between eclipses is some of the most powerful soul work we can do during eclipse season is surprisingly simple, Observe. Reflect. Journal. And try not to freak out.
There is a scene in the movie Forces of Nature with Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock where chaos and a storm seem to be raging around them, but they remain untouched and unaffected. That image always stays with me because it captures something important about navigating periods of enormous change. The storm can exist without becoming a part of the storm.
This is how I encourage you to navigate this Pisces lunation. Become the observer. Notice what is shifting. Notice what is changing. Notice where you suddenly feel drawn. Notice what you no longer have the energy to carry. Notice which emotions keep rising to the surface. Notice what your intuition has been quietly repeating.
Find that sweet spot where you can witness the storm while also recognizing the places where you are being held, strengthened, and healed.
Pisces asks us to surrender; surrender is not giving up but releasing our insistence that we must understand everything before we can trust where life is taking us.
Water may be moving; can you trust what is surfacing without needing to know exactly what comes next? The shoreline may still be difficult to see right now, but that does not mean you’re lost.
Sometimes faith is simply continuing to move toward the shore before you can see it.
Pisces Lunar Eclipse Horoscopes
Read for your Rising Sign
These horoscopes are written using whole-sign houses. I recommend reading for your Rising sign because it tells you which area of life the Pisces eclipse is illuminating.
Aries Rising — 12th House
This eclipse moves through one of the quietest and deepest areas of your chart. Something you have pushed down, avoided, or simply haven’t had the space to process may rise to the surface.
Pay attention to dreams, memories, exhaustion, intuition, and your need for solitude. You don’t have to fix every feeling that appears. Some things simply need to be acknowledged before they can be released.
Taurus Rising — 11th House
Your relationship with your future may be changing.
A friendship, community, collaboration, or long-held dream may suddenly feel different. You could recognize where you belong—and perhaps where you no longer do.
Don’t immediately assume that changing direction means you’ve failed. Sometimes the dream changes because you have changed.
Gemini Rising — 10th House
Something may be shifting around career, purpose, reputation, or the role you play in the world.
You may feel pulled between what makes logical sense and what feels emotionally meaningful. With Uranus moving through your sign, you are already redefining yourself. This eclipse may reveal how your outer life needs to catch up with those internal changes.
Cancer Rising — 9th House
Your worldview may be expanding.
An old belief, philosophy, spiritual understanding, educational path, or vision for your future may no longer fit quite the way it once did.
Pisces asks you to leave room for mystery. You don’t need every answer before taking the next step.
Sometimes faith begins precisely where certainty ends.
Leo Rising — 8th House
This eclipse takes you beneath the surface.
Themes involving trust, vulnerability, intimacy, debt, shared finances, emotional attachments, or the energetic ties connecting you to another person may become impossible to ignore.
Something may need to be released, forgiven, renegotiated, or finally acknowledged.
You don’t have to carry everything simply because you once agreed to.
Virgo Rising — 7th House
This eclipse lands directly across from you in your relationship house.
Partnerships may act as mirrors, showing you something about yourself that has been difficult to see. A relationship could deepen, shift, reach an emotional turning point, or require a different level of honesty.
Resist the urge to analyze every interaction to death.
Sometimes you already know how you feel.
Libra Rising — 6th House
Your routines may be asking for an emotional reset.
You may suddenly recognize that a schedule, habit, work situation, or responsibility is draining more energy than you realized.
Pisces reminds you that productivity is not the same thing as wellness.
Listen to your body. Listen to your energy. Something in your everyday life may need to become softer, simpler, or more sustainable.
Scorpio Rising — 5th House
Romance, creativity, children, pleasure, self-expression, or something deeply personal may stir your emotions.
You may realize how long you’ve been postponing joy while handling everything else.
You don’t need to justify what makes your heart happy.
Sagittarius Rising — 4th House
This eclipse reaches into your foundations.
Home, family, parents, property, childhood patterns, or your sense of emotional security may become important.
Something from the past may surface—not necessarily to pull you backward, but because you’re finally ready to understand it differently.
Your definition of “home” may also be changing.
Capricorn Rising — 3rd House
A conversation, realization, message, or piece of information may change how you understand a situation.
But with Mercury tangled in this eclipse story, don’t force yourself to have all the answers immediately.
Listen before responding. Observe before deciding.
Your intuition may understand something before your logical mind can explain it.
Aquarius Rising — 2nd House
Your relationship with income, possessions, stability, or self-worth may be changing.
A financial shift could reveal where fear has been driving your choices—or where you’ve underestimated your own value.
Pisces Rising — 1st House
This one is personal.
The eclipse falls in your sign, illuminating identity, appearance, vitality, direction, and the person you are becoming.
You may feel unusually emotional or sensitive, but something important is being revealed.
An old version of yourself may simply no longer fit.
You don’t have to know exactly who you’re becoming yet.
