The Art of Relating
At 28° Libra, this New Moon marks a turning point in how we relate, connect, and share our hearts. The Sun and Moon unite in Venus’s graceful domain—Venus in Libra, strong in her own sign—reminding us that relationship is both an art and a mirror. It reveals our harmony and our imbalance, our beauty and our shadow.
The New Moon squares Jupiter in Cancer, stretching our emotional capacity and asking us to nurture without losing ourselves. At the same time, Mercury and Mars join in Scorpio, making a trine Jupiter, bringing depth, vulnerability, and the courage to face what has been hidden. These aspects invite intimacy through truth—the kind that transforms rather than destroys. Scorpio strips away the superficial so that something real can grow.
Libra seeks balance and grace; Scorpio insists on authenticity and emotional honesty. Together, they create the alchemy of healing through relationship. Without “the other,” we stand as the lone wolf of Aries—but Libra reminds us that autonomy and connection are not opposites. The strongest partnerships are those where both individuals remain whole within the union.
At this final degree of Libra, we’re invited to plant new seeds of relating—ones rooted in equality, respect, and soulful communication. Every relationship is a teacher. Some mirror our tenderness, others our wounds. Not every connection is meant to last forever, but each leaves its imprint on who we are becoming as individuals.
“You must purge yourself before finding faults in others.
When you see a mistake in somebody else, try and find if you are making the same mistake.
This is the way to take judgment and turn it into improvement…
Know your capacities and continually improve upon them.” B.K.S. Iyengar
This New Moon asks us to do just that—to look inward before outward, to refine how we love, and to meet one another with truth, compassion, and balance.
A Personal Reflection
Finding balance in my life has allowed me to revisit my passion for medical astrology, a practice that bridges the body, mind, and spirit through celestial understanding. This New Moon in Libra governs the kidneys, adrenals, hormonal equilibrium, and the ovaries, the delicate systems that maintain internal harmony.
The ruler of this lunation, Venus in Libra, embodies restoration, beauty, and balance. Under her gentle yet decisive guidance, I chose this lunation to remove my ovaries and begin hormone blockers—a deeply aligned act of creating equilibrium within my body. From a medical astrological view, Libra seeks homeostasis: the balance between excess and depletion, masculine and feminine, action and rest. Venus’s rulership brings grace and healing through alignment and proportion, helping the body find a new rhythm after significant transformation.
With Mercury and Mars in Scorpio in trine to Jupiter in Cancer, there is courage in unveiling hidden truths—within the body and within the psyche. Scorpio governs the reproductive system, regeneration, and the mysteries of transformation. Mars and Mercury together speak to the active process of clearing and recalibrating, while Jupiter’s trine offers faith and nourishment for healing. In this configuration, the surgery and hormonal adjustment are not just medical interventions—they are part of a greater Venusian rebalancing of inner harmony and vitality.
Through this lunation, I align with the presence of balance through transformation. As Venus restores, Mars purifies, and Jupiter protects, the body learns a new equilibrium.
This is alchemy through astrology—a sacred dialogue between the heavens and the cells, guiding me toward wholeness.
Stay tuned for Medical Astrology offerings.
Much Love,
Lisa
